iPhone App Store sees large quantity of apps removed
Ok so the word hitting the net waves is that Apple has pulled a large quantity of iPhone applications from the iTunes App Store, the reason for this is apparently said applications have received fake reviews on the applications quality reports an article over on driverheaven.
The pulled iPhone applications appear to be from iPhone application developer Molinker who had numerous iPhone apps dealing with travel guides, photo tools, and currency converters, and that most of these apps have received universal positive reviews with five star ratings.
Now one wouldn’t expect apps with a five star rating to be pulled from the App Store, but when you take into consideration that all the reviews where apparently submitted by users who only review for Molinker apps then something stands out as possibly wrong.
As a result Molinker had every one of their applications booted out of the iPhone App Store by Apple, and apparently even the Molinker website is currently unavailable.
