The word is that Mobile Review’s editor in chief, Eldar Murtazin has used Twitter to announce that Foxconn has received an order for the next generation iPhone reports an article over on engadget.

Apparently they say that Eldar Murtazin is the ultimate insider when it comes to all things mobile and thus inclined to believe said tweet is true and basically holds more weight than any random analyst note.

They also note that if Apple is to continue with the traditional time for an iPhone refresh then the timing of the tweet is just about right.

Eldar Murtazin tweeted…”Foxconn received order for next generation iPhone,” and that was all. So does this mean the next generation iPhone is on its way for a mid-year showing? Any bets on that Apple will remain silent on this one?
