For all you United Kingdom iPhone toting news hungry people out there, the Guardian has now released their iPhone application to the Apple iTunes App Store and commands a price tag of £2.39.

The Guardian UK application for iPhone has been optimised for the iPhone and iPod Touch and delivers a range of features so the iPhoner can stay on top of guardian.co.uk content, and also features an offline mode which enables the user to stay in touch even when no signal is apparent.

Apparently almost all content found on guardian.co.uk will be available via the iPhone and iPod Touch application and has been constructed using the Open Platform’s RSS feeds.
