During the run up to Christmas many people search the internet for that special present, and according to online info company Experian Hitwise, the most searched for toy this Christmas is the Go Go Hamster reports an article on the Guardian.
However, when it comes down to electronic goods which dominates the most searched list it appears that the iPhone and iPod Touch takes the lead this Christmas and after them comes video game consoles.
Apparently searches for toys and hobbies account for 13.6 percent of all online product searches in the UK this week and the only more searched product the same week is mobile phones which garnered 14.4 percent of all searches.
So if you look at this it still means that there is a great deal of interest in the iPhone and iPod Touch out there, so it isn’t really surprising that the iPhone still holds the crown in the smartphone world.
