Oh please not another one, just because Vodafone UK is going to release the Nokia N900 internet tablet in January 2010 doesn’t mean it is an iPhone killer, isn’t, hasn’t been and won’t be; it simply hasn’t got the gumption to take the crown from the iconic iPhone.
However an article over on ibtimes has it that the Nokia N900 is indeed an iPhone killer as their article title states Nokia N900 promises to end iPhone’s reign as king of smartphones…try pulling the other one.
Funny I thought that the Google Nexus One was the new supposed iPhone killer, but apparently not, it’s the Nokia N900, just like it was the Nokia N97, Motorola Droid, Palm Pre, Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 and numerous other smartphones that have been or are coming to the mobile phone arena.
But it seems we have all got it wrong and the Nokia N900 becoming available on Vodafone UK in January has somehow given a boost to the Nokia N900’s chances of swiping the smartphone crown. Well it’s not going to happen, not chance; the iPhone will still retain its crown as king of smartphones and I think Apple has nothing to worry about.
