Palm Plays Santa to WebOS Developers with Christmas Gift
Palm treats their developers well and to show their appreciation for developer’s work as there are now well over 700 apps available as opposed to the 15 apps back in June; Palm has decided this year to play Santa.
According to an article over on the mx web, all developers that have taken part in Palm’s beta webOS App Catalog will receive a $100 Amazon gift card in appreciation for their efforts and as a thank you.
The Christmas gift from Palm is also accompanied by a cover letter which has been signed by none other than Palm CEO Jon Rubinstein, and Directors of Developer Relations, Ben Galbraith and Dion Almaer.
You have to give kudos to Palm for playing fair with their developers as you don’t often hear developers receiving appreciation gifts for their services, and after all it’s the thought that counts.
