A recent study of over 1000 smartphone owners found that the majority of smartphone owners will check their mobiles over the festive season and over 2 thirds will actually be keeping regular checks on a daily basis.

45% actually claimed that their BlackBerry will be with them at all times, you know, just in case something really important arises. 26% simply said it is a habit that they are unable to break regardless of what day it is.
