We mentioned not so long ago about the Apple iPhone 3GS supporting OpenGL ES 2.0, well now it seems that the all new Google Nexus One Phone is on the same wavelength.

What we all want is a decent 3D engine where developers can write superb games in as little time as possible, which will make things a whole lot easier, well according to the Download Squad the all new Nexus One will also have OpenGL ES 2.0 support.

The Google Phone has OpenGL ES 2.0 support but can it be as good as the iPhone 3GS, this is one of the best smartphones for gaming, so for the Nexus One to be up there it has to do something special.

So far what we have read about the Google Phone all seems to be very impressive and can indeed be a great competitor in the market, there is always more room to shelve better and faster devices especially if gaming gets better also.
