No Multitouch: Google Nexus One phone, more specifications
This is not good; the all new Google Nexus One phone has not got Multitouch in Google Maps or the browser. We like what tnkgrl mobile has found even though she was not allowed to take pictures or video, which is a great shame.
She got her hands on the Google Nexus One smartphone and has a little play; she did notice that it misses out on multitouch support in Google Maps and the browser.
She played with the smartphone and found some interesting things, for example the device is very thin indeed and it looks much nicer up close and personal than in photos, it features a 4 GB micro-SD card installed, battery capacity is 1400 mAh, 3G works on T-Mobile USA and the screen appears to be OLED, which is the same size resolution of the Motorola Droid.
The Nexus One is definitely unlocked and it is super fast, so much so it is faster than the Droid, apparently there is no 3G on AT&T (EGDE only) like we said here, there is no dedicated camera key, trackball can be used to focus, flash is very weak but low-light performance is pretty good, home screen is divided into 5 panes, it is also using a micro-USB connector for data/power.
She also said that the calls are routed the normal way, not using data (VoIP), for more information please visit the sources on this page. Let us know what your thoughts are on the all new upcoming Google Nexus One.

You really should change the title of this news article. The phone does have multitouch, it’s just the current version of the browser and maps don’t support it yet.
