December 16th saw the official launch of Canada’s newest national carrier, WINDmobile and it seems like its is going well and has a lot to offer.

The staff at WIND was apparently everything you would have expected them to be, very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and maybe more importantly very determined to provide subscribers with the utmost standard in assistance and service.

Being a new company running on a brand new network, you would of course expect to run into some problems. Some of the transactions took a little while to complete and activations took a bit of time.

Some updates and confirmations, there is no activation fee, Unlimited text is available for just $5 per month, WIND will not be unlocking any devices as this contravenes Canadian copyright issues. Android devices including Nokia N900 and Sony Xperia X10 are coming soon. Source – crackberry.com
