Although there is no word on the Palm support website, according to an article over on engadget, Sprint is showing that the Palm Pre smartphone is to gain a webOS update to version 1.3.5 as of today the 28th of Dec.
If one remembers, CEO Jon Rubinstein made mention of webOS 1.3.5 being on its way during a recent earnings call, and apparently the webOS applications storage limitations has now been removed.
Also coming in webOS 1.3.5 is better battery life and better performance and along with numerous bug fixes for the Palm Pre smartphone.
