According to Net Application’s Market Share analysis, the Android operating system has seen the largest growth in web use for the month of December, registering 66% growth, reports an article over on softpedia.
Therefore, the Android operating system has increased its market share from 0.03% up to 0.05%, which percentage wise doesn’t seem a great deal but it is an increase which gives Android the highest growth in internet usage during the last month of 2009.
Of course the iPhone leads when it comes to web usage but has registered just a 22% increase from 0.36% in November to 0.44% in December. Windows Mobile also saw an increase with a 50% internet usage growth, increasing market share from 0.04% in November to 0.06% in December.
As for Symbian, it registered an increase in December of 21% while Palm webOS and BlackBerry stayed at the same level as in November.
