It appears that a particular iPhone app called Super Agent has upset one of Hollywood’s most feared men, Ari Emanuel, reports an article over on The Independent. The Super Agent game for the iPhone has so upset the Hollywood wheeler-dealer that he has taken legal action against the apps creator.
The reason for the legal action is apparently the main character in Super Agent who is “less than scrupulously moral” bears the name his own name.
Emanuel, whose clients include big names such as Ben Affleck, Robert De Niro and Christian Bale, claims the Super Agent character named Ari has been crudely inspired by his own career, and thus his lawyers have demanded the iPhone application be removed.
The legal dispute over Super Agent for the iPhone has seen Apple suspended sales of the application from the iTunes App Store until further notice pending investigation. Super Agent creator Factory Six denies the game is based on Emanuel.
