Motorola has shown off their rather strange Motorola Backflip handset and the guys over at engadget managed to grab a little hands-on playtime with the new device from Motorola, which they say they are not quite sure what to make of the handset.
When the Motorola Backflip is in its closed position it resembles the Motorola CLIQ and the keyboard on the back remains unlit, but when you activate the full QWERTY keyboard which opens backwards it lights up.
Currently the Motorola Backflip runs Android 1.5 with MotoBlur the same as the Motorola CLIQ however, Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha has stated that the Motorola Backflip will receive an upgrade to Android 2.1 at some point.
Anyway, enough of me, we have that video of the Motorola Backflip for your viewing pleasure which can be located below and lets you know most of the basics of the phone, so hit it up and check it out.
