Word is that Lenovo has now announced an Android handset which is destined for the Chinese market in May, and is the Lenovo LePhone reports an article over on engadget.
Spec wise the Lenovo LePhone sports a 3.7 inch capacitive touch screen, a 3 megapixel camera and secondary camera, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, WiFi, A-GPS, and runs Android OS 1.5, removable battery and 3.5mm jack.
Apparently there is also an option for an external physical keyboard which snaps onto the Lenovo LePhone, and a carrier specific App Store should be available soon, but any word on carriers, availability and price has yet to be announced.
