Samsung have a new addition to the family the Galaxy Spica has been announced at CES 2010. At the same time they have also announced two great touchscreen feature phones the Corby and the Corby Pro.
Now, you may well think you have heard of the Galaxy Spica before and your not wrong as it was launched overseas late last year. The Galaxy Spica is a newer revamped version of the Samsung Galaxy, Samsung’s first Android phone.
The Spica redesigned for the US market comes with a 3.2 inch HVGA display a fast 800 MHz processor and has a 3 megapixel camera. Just like the Samsung Moment which also sports the same processor the Galaxy Spica also has the Vanilla Android interface.
This is great news for those of you that are not that keen on Samsung’s sometimes confusing TouchWiz 3D user interface. It has fantastic DNSe 2.0 audio enhancement technology which is usually found on the companies potable media players. The Spica does not have a AMOLED display and is only half an inch thick.
