First Brew Sense Handset Announced by HTC
Another HTC manufactured mobile phone is hogging all the limelight at the moment, namely the Google Nexus One, but HTC are still putting out other new handsets. The word is HTC has now announced their first handset with Brew.
According to an article over on intomobile the HTC handset is called Smart and incorporates HTC’s Sense UI. Other known specs of the HTC Smart are a 2.8 inch QVGA touch sensitive display, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, 3 megapixel camera with fixed focus, Bluetooth 2.0 with DER and A2DP, 1100mAh battery, and 3.5mm jack.
The HTC Smart measures 104 x 55 x 12.8mm and weighs in at 108 grams and is basically a modest package, not WiFi though unfortunately but that may keep the pricing affordable.
As for the pricing of the HTC Smart isn’t known just yet, but apparently the handset is initially slated for a spring availability in Asia and Europe.
