Jitterbug J announced by Samsung at CES 2010

The No 1 mobile phone provider in the US Samsung Mobile is announcing it’s collaboration with Jitterbug the company that specializes in innovative wireless services. They have created the Jitterbug J in Red mobile in support of the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement.

The Jitterbug J is otherwise known as the A310 is part of a major health and wellness initiative between Jitterbug and Samsung. It intention is to encourage women to speak up against heart disease.

The device will feature health tips of the day and has health and wellness services, which come from the American Heart Association and go directly to the Jitterbug J as well as the LiveNurse service which is an award winning service that connect consumers to a 24 hour registered nurse service which offers medical advice.

The phone itself, is a flip phone and weighs in at just 4.06 ounces and features a 2.1 inch TFT LCD display inside. Bluetooth is also available for wireless hands free connectivity. The phone is expected to be available later this month. Source – tech2.in.com
