T-Mobile is to discontinue their @Home service which enables T-Mobile customers to make calls through a T-Mobile router according to an article over on the boy genius report, who rumoured this was to happen about a month ago.

Apparently it has now been confirmed that the T-Mobile @Home service is a goner, although @Home customers will be able to continue to the service for the moment, and for the time being T-Mobile will continue to offer support.

However once inventory of @Home routers have gone T-Mobile will withdraw their service to any new customer, so if you do want T-Mobile @Home then you need to act quickly to get aboard.

T-Mobile @Home service was available as an add-on to most of T-Mobile’s wireless service plans for an additional $10 per month.
