Microsoft’s Windows Mobile operating system seems to be slipping further back when compared to the iPhone and Android, and the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 update is basically incremental, but does show that Microsoft knows their OS doesn’t have the same appeal as other mobile platforms.
While at CES 2010 in Las Vega, Microsoft showed off their Windows Mobile 6.5.3 operating system update and we have a video of the Windows Mobile action for your viewing pleasure below courtesy of the guys over at intomobile.
When you view said video you will note that the Windows Mobile 6.5.3 user interface has gained a slight update which reflects a similarity to the new Internet Explorer Mobile.
The video shows Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5.3 running on a Toshiba TG01, and all of the stuff which was situated at the top has now been moved to the bottom much the same way Internet Explorer Mobile shows its navigation buttons; so check out the video and see what you think.
