Ionics Inc have said that its subsidiary Ionics EMS Inc has recently partnered with Verizon Wireless, American telecommunications provider for the manufacture of home monitoring solutions.

In a disclosure Ionics said that other technology partners for the development of solutions are 4Home,Marvell, Sercomm and LG Electronics.

These will include wireless products designed for home security monitoring and they are equipped with security cameras as well as energy management and home appliance monitoring which is done through a web portal and a wireless handset.

Ionics are going to customize hardware and firmware platforms to integrate LG’s LTE module and Sercomm’s IP security camera as driven by 4Home’s smart software. Source – bworldonline.com
