Video: Nexus One Touch Screen Scratch Resistant
All touch screen smartphones go through the phase of having individuals test them out to see how far they can go and what the smartphone can withstand, and the Android packing Google Nexus One superphone isn’t exempt.
In the past we’ve seen the touch screen scratch test performed on the likes of the iPhone, Motorola Droid, HTC HD2 and other handsets, and today we have a video that puts the Nexus One to the touch screen scratch test.
The video, which can be viewed below courtesy of the guys over at pocket now, shows the Nexus One superphone being tortured with a set of keys in order to find out if its touch screen will scratch or if it is indeed scratch resistant.
And what do you know; the Nexus One touch screen is indeed scratch resistant just like the iPhone and others. Personally I think it takes a brave person to try and scratch the touch screen of their new smartphone, I mean what would one do if it did scratch? Check out the video below, don’t try it yourself, and enjoy.

The screen and teflon cover may be scratch resistant, however, the portion that’s painted isn’t. The paint can chip away pretty easily…
This video is a big lie !!! My Nexus has already TWO scratches !!!
Mine also has TWO! I only had it in pocket of my jeans, yet it got TWO scraches!
My screen is good but my paint at the bottom is starting to chip BAD
