Have you got Verizon Motorola Droid security problems?

As you may have heard, the Motorola Droid seems to have a security problem in as much as the Android 2.0.1 operating system seems to bypass the Motorola Droid’s screen lock security, you can read our original article (here)

The word is that those wanting to hack your Motorola Droid can exploit this security bug easily, although they would require your handset, your mobile number, or have to hang around until someone calls the Droid, which obviously if they have stolen your Droid they will have plenty of time to do.

The word is that Google is working on delivering a fix for this security issue, but hasn’t said when that fix would be pushed out to Motorola Droid owners; all they say is ‘shortly.’

So we are asking if any of our readers who own a Verizon Motorola Droid is they are experiencing any security problems with their Droid handset, so feel free to drop us a comment below if you are.

  1. Jackson says:

I notice a severe problem: Using the web browser, Droid "remembers" my password for my stock account, and the next time I access the account, the entry page contains my ID and password already.

I'd better not lose my droid while this problem exists!
