Korean phone manufacturer LG has recently announced the availably of its first Android smartphone in the UK.
It is the GW620 and it is going to be available soon over the next few weeks on T-Mobile and its MVNO Virgin Mobile. The In Touch GW620 otherwise known as Etna has been released back in September 2009.
It comes with a slide out QWERTY a three inch 480 x 320 pixel touchscreen. A nice five megapixel camera with built in flash and a 4x digital zoom. Most of the other specs are what you would expect and are just pretty much run of the mill.
Google services, a 3.5mm headphone socket , A GPS, pre loaded Facebook application there is also support for HSDPA 3G speeds and a single physical photo in the front. You can get this from Virgin Mobile from just £49.99 when you sign up for a 18 month £18 per month contract. Source – itproportal.com
