The much rumoured iPhone 4G has been speculated upon quite a great deal of late, mostly concerned over the next generation iPhone handsets release date and has been rumoured to being launch in April, May and June.
iPhone 4G specs and features have also been a topic of conversation with the speculation saying the iPhone 4G will sport an OLED touch screen, a dual-processor, a 5 megapixel camera, video calling, double storage capacity, touch sensitive casing, and of course the removable battery.
However, all speculation at present, and if Apple can’t get the touch screen panels needed for the iPhone 4G those speculated specs and launch dates fall by the wayside.
According to an article over on merinews, the world’s largest smartphone touch screen manufacturer, China’s Wintek Corporation which supplies touch screen to Apple for the iPhone and iPod touch has gone on strike, and if so will surely hold up any launch of the iPhone 4G if Apple can’t get the touch panels.
