Back to basics Apple II Green on Black
Some fun has to come up every now and again, and Marco Arment has done just that for us.
He has been designing for AMOLED screens for those of you that don’t know active matrix light emitting diode.
Currently this is being used for the Google Nexus One and this is something that many are hoping that Apple may decide to adopt for the 4th generation iPhone, and maybe even the iTablet.
The solution albeit a little tongue in cheek is to go back to the old school, Apple II ancient CRT style green on black. No of course we’re not at all nostalgic but we’re hoping that AMOLED technology gets better with the blues before the iPhone developers go retro with their text. Source – theiphoneblog.com
