Apple Event News 2010: iTablet, iPhone 4G, OS 4.0, Verizon

The Big Build Up: The Apple (AAPL) Event 2010 is happening today (Wednesday 27) and we are at the edge of our seats already, it seems that it will be mostly about the new tablet but we have our own reservations.

Yes they will be talking about the new tablet and its launch, specs, features, release date and of course much more like the price etc, but if we was to put our heads on the line we would suggest that Apple or should we say Mr Steve Jobs and co will mention something about the new iPhone, new OS of some sort, and iPhone for Verizon and not forgetting something about AT&T and its exclusivity ending.

Speculations to-date:

Well the new iPhone for 2010 will have new features such as 5-megapixel camera, Removable battery, Portable DVR functionality, Full metal case, Touch sensitive case, Front facing video camera, LED Flash, Contacts on home screen, more RAM memory, Built-in RFID, OLED display, Dual-core processor and 64GB NAND flash memory.

We have mentioned about an all new iPhone quite a bit like what it could possibly look like, which you can see here. Verizon Wireless could possibly get its hands on the device this year after the AT&T exclusivity deal ends and of course we have also mentioned about the iPhone could be stocked by all major network carriers, not forgetting some crazy photos.

So what about the new operating system? Well rumours has it that the new OS 4.0 will feature Contacts on iPhone home screen, at the moment we know that 3.1.3 is on the horizon. 4.0 will apparently deliver multi-tasking to the iPhone and a new way to sync contacts and calendar.
