Steve Jobs new Apple tablet aka (itablet or islate) beefed-up iPhone
Today is the day where we all sit back and wait for the Apple Event 2010 to kick off, it looks like it will be mainly about Steve Jobs launching the new Apple tablet aka (itablet or islate), which is basically a beefed-up iPhone.
Apple (AAPL) seems to go from strength-to-strength and considering revenue of an astonishing $15.68 billion and a net quarterly profit of $3.38 billion, which adds up to $3.67 per share you have to say how much further Apple can go.
Everything at the moment is speculation but today is the day where all will be revealed and we will obviously be covering it all, the Apple Tablet aka itablet or islate and some are calling it the iPad is basically a beefed-up iPhone, yes it has a little more muscle. This new tablet is expected to feature a 7 to 11 inch display, which is bigger than an iPhone but smaller than a netbook/notebook.
Other speculated features include a virtual keyboard, camera, video conversations through Apple’s iChat software, watch video, surf the Web, send e-mail’s, play games and get apps via iTunes App Store. This new tablet according to White Hat News will run all video and music apps of the iPhone and iPod Touch.
We have mentioned that Verizon could possibly get the new tablet and even AT&T may get their hands on it but we will have to wait and see, the device is said to have Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity as well. Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO, stated, “If you analyze our quarterly revenue, it’s surprising that Apple is now a $50+ billion company,” “The new products we are planning to release this year are very strong, starting this week with a major new product that we’re really excited about.”

Both AT&T and Verizon will carry the Tablet in the United States, subsidizing the up-front price of the device if you sign a contract to pay for their 3G data networks.
