Not too long ago we saw a leaked image of what was reportedly the Motorola MOTOSPLIT and Android platform smartphone which is presumed to be destined for the AT&T network sometime in the third quarter of this year.
Well now the guys over at android community have another supposed image of the Motorola MOTOSPLIT, but this time showing the QWERTY keyboard, which according to their source that wants to remain anonymous can be a numeric keyboard or take any layout.
The Motorola MOTOSPLIT keyboard is a two-way split keyboard that has no tactile feedback but appear to be finger friendly cut-outs. Beneath the cut-outs is a low-res monochrome touch screen on each side of the keyboard.
Apparently the keyboard has multiple orientations and can be pulled from side to side for typing on a surface and sports a small kickstand, and pulling the keyboard to the left delivers a standard landscape layout and there is also a dial-pad layout.
It appear the specifications mentioned in previous posts weren’t spot on as now the Motorola MOTOSPLIT is expected to have almost identical specs to the Motorola Backflip including the same processor.
