Looks like the details of Windows Mobile 7 which apparently was to make its debut at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona has been given an early airing via the blogosphere, suggest an article over on itproportal.
It has been rumoured that Windows Mobile 7 could be released sometime this year although Microsoft hasn’t offered any confirmation on this, and industry sources suggest Windows Mobile 7 may make its debut during MWC 2010 and release details at a later date.
However, with the way things work today on the net, why wait until MWC as apparently details have emerged that suggest Windows Mobile 7 may not include multitasking, will have a similar UI to the Zune HD and a browser with IE 7 codebase along with a few elements of IE 8.
Furthermore apparently Windows Mobile 7 will include not only Xbox 360 integration but also offer social networking such as Twitter and Facebook, while apps from the Windows Marketplace will only be allowed while OEM interfaces will not be permitted.
