HTC Photon turns HTC HD Mini for MWC 2010
Some time ago there was an HTC roadmap leaked to the net waves which along with the HTC Bravo and HTC Legend made mention of the HTC Photon. Well according to an article over on wmpoweruser, HTC is planning on announcing the new smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2010.
The thing is when HTC announce the handset apparently it will no longer be known as the HTC Photon but will come out to play as the HTC HD Mini and will sport Windows Mobile 6.5 rather than Windows Mobile 7 which is also due to be announced at the event.
Spec wise the HTC HD Mini ex Photon will sport a 3.2 inch HVGA capacitive touch screen, HSPA, A-GPS, a 5 megapixel camera, 600 MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 3.5mm jack and microSD expansion.
As it has been previously rumoured the HTC HD Mini is expected to become available sometime in April, but no word on any pricing as yet.
