Acer has now added another edition to their Android platform of smartphones an updated version of the original Acer Liquid, the Acer Liquid e which runs the Android 2.1 operating system, reports an article over on gizmodo.
Spec wise the Acer Liquid e sports a Qualcomm 768 MHz Snapdragon processor, a 3.5 inch WVGA capacitive touch screen, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, HSDPA/HSUPA, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, 512MB ROM, 256MB RAM, and microSD slot, accelerometer, proximity sensor and light sensor.
With the Acer Liquid e packing that 768 MHz Snapdargon it’s obviously not going to be as snappy as some smartphones packing the 1GHz Snapdragon we’re seen but as Acer isn’t really known for their smartphones the Acer Liquid e is a step in the right direction and a step up from the original Acer Liquid.
As for any availability and pricing of the Acer Liquid e, as yet there is no word on when it will hit or what price it may command.
