As we know you simply love seeing the iPhone go up against any smartphone that comes on the market we have a video for your viewing pleasure today that puts the iPhone 3GS against the Android Nexus One in a 3D frame rate comparison test.
The test uses a fairly typical 3D game scene and contains multiple animated characters within a 3D environment to find out which of the two smartphones is capable of pushing out more frames per second.
Apparently when put through a series of pin-point tests and really taxed, the Nexus One seemed to lag behind the iPhone 3GS in general with the iPhone 3GS hitting 61 frames per second while the Nexus One only manages 30 to 35 frames per second.
