They say beauty is only skin deep, but come on there has to be some attraction to the eye, but not where AIS is concerned apparently with this ultra-rugged PDA which is reminiscent of some military brick, something you’d lob at someone at a football match.
According to an article over on windows phone mix, the Ultra-rugged PDA is a Windows Mobile 6.1, (sorry… Windows Phone Classic) handset which packs a 3.7 inch QVGA display, GPS, 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi, 256MB internal storage, and microSD slot.
On visiting the product page they state the AIS Ultra-rugged PDA conforms to military spec 810F and 461F for 60 inch drops, humidity, vibration, shock, altitude, water, dust, sand, thermal shock and extreme temperatures.
As for the asking price of this military brick type handset, if you actually want one it will set you back a staggering $1899, so expensive I would presume it can withstand you running over its ugliness a few times with your tank and still come out working, anyone care to try?
