As most found out during Mobile World Congress 2010, when Microsoft unveiled the new Windows Phone 7 it features Xbox Live, but the word is that Microsoft isn’t opposed to other console platforms appearing on the Windows Phone 7 operating system reports an article on techradar.
The senior product manager for the mobile communications marketing group at Microsoft, Michael Chang has stated “If you look at our history in mobiles, we have never blocked anything off this platform because we compete in the same space, at least not in the phone space.”
Chang goes on to say that it’s quite obvious why its known as a Games hub and Music and Video hub as Xbox and Zune are key parts, but are not the only parts of the Windows Phone experience.
Which can be taken that Microsoft isn’t opposed to other gaming console platforms coming to Windows Phone 7, such as the Playstation and the like.
