As you are probably aware there has been a battle going on between the Big Red and the Big Blue over 3G, you’ll no doubt have seen the numerous tit-for-tat video commercials featuring the Red and Blue maps, so Verizon lays claim to having the most 3G coverage.
But according to an article over on slashgear, AT&T can lay claim to peak 3G performance via a recent test carried out by pcworld which shows AT&T out beats other competitors including Verizon.
According to said 3G tests AT&T download speeds are on average some 67% faster than Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile and Sprint, and also show that reliability of the AT&T network has improved with testers managing to connect successfully in 94% of attempts.
Still, no doubt Verizon and iPhone users will continue to bash AT&T over their network, but if you go by this at least AT&T seem to be improving.
