Although over in Canada there are quite a few Android platform smartphones available such as the Motorola Milestone, HTC Magic, Samsung Galaxy, and HTC Hero, but the Canadian Android toting public aren’t getting the full Android experience when it come to the Android Market.
The Android Market offers in excess of 30,000 applications of which 60 percent are free apps and 40 percent paid apps, and Canada is apparently being “shut out” when it comes to paid Android apps reports an article over on mobile syrup.
However, that may soon change with any luck with paid apps coming to Canada. Apparently Wendy Rozeluk, a Google Canada spokesperson has said that there are many factors that make sure selling and purchasing processes run smoothly, and it takes time to deliver that support to more countries but we are working hard on it.
Furthermore apparently the Montreal Gazzette has reported that Google is working on said problem and hopes to make an announcement next week, so this could mean that Google is going to announce Android paid applications are coming to the Canadian Android Market.
