First Windows Phone 7 Series is LG Panther
You are probably aware that it has been reported that LG will deliver the first smartphone to sport Microsoft’s new mobile operating system, Windows Phone 7 Series, but up until now what that smartphone would be known as has been missing, but now we know.
According to an article over on softsailor, and the reported name of the first LG Windows Phone 7 Series handset is the LG Panther; however, they do say that this should be treated purely as rumour as the name originates from Best Mobile Contracts in the UK, which they say they have never heard of before.
The article goes on to state that the LG Panther, if the naming is correct, sports a large touch screen, a 5 megapixel camera, and a slide out QWERTY keyboard, and of course the Windows Phone 7 Series OS.
Other than that info and the image there’s not much more one can tell at the moment but no doubt if the first Windows Phone 7 Series smartphone is the LG Panther we’ll find out for sure soon enough. More on this as and when we hear.
