It appears that the version of Google’s superphone that launches in India, the Google Nexus One, won’t be the same version as elsewhere in the world, but will be a feature reduced version of the smartphone reports an article over on india-server.
The word is Google is working on a version of their Nexus One specifically for developing markets such as Russia and India and will not sport all the features the original Nexus One sports but will also take that into consideration when pricing the smartphone.
The Nexus One packs a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash, 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen, 512MB Flash along with a 4GB microSD slot, video recording at 20 frames per second and numerous Google services such as Gmail, Google Search and the like.
Just what reduction in features the developing markets Google Nexus One will lose isn’t known at this time; however once we hear we will be sure to pass it along.
