The HTC Desire, the European version of the Android packing Google Nexus One smartphone in heading for the UK and will appear on the T-Mobile UK network as of 26th of this month, while Orange UK is expect to launch the HTC Desire in April reports an article over on live-pr.

T-Mobile has a bit of a history with the Android platform, if you remember some time ago T-Mobile was the first to offer the Android platform in the UK with the T-Mobile G1, and continues to offer a wide range of Android based smartphones within the UK.

Spec wise the T-Mobile HTC Desire carries virtually the same specs as the Google Nexus One smartphone, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 2.1 Android operating system, 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen, and a 5 megapixel camera, but unlike the Nexus One also packs HTC Sense.

As for pricing of the HTC Desire on T-Mobile, word is the Desire will cost about £49.99 based on a 2 year agreement with a £35.00 per month tariff.
