Its happy birthday to iPhone 3.0, as one year ago Apple released iPhone 3.0 Beta 1 during their iPhone 3.0 SDK Sneak Peak event which gave us a look at such stuff as tethering, MMS, cut, copy and paste, Spotlight search, turn by turn navigation and so much more reports tipb.
A year has passed and iPhone 3.0 Beta 1 has now hit both version 3.1.3 and 3.2 beta, from 30 million iPhone and iPod Touch handsets to exceeding 75 million on the market.
Thus yesterday it was iPhone 3.0’s first birthday, but being a year on maybe its time for old iPhone 3.0 to retire and make way for iPhone 4.0.
No doubt we’ll all be saying bye-bye to iPhone 3.0 when Apple gets round to launching iPhone 4.0 which hopefully will come in the not too distant future.
