Sprint promised a little while ago that they were going to provide a software update for customers who have either a HTC Hero or a Samsung Moment.

A report over on news.softpedia.com says that the update which was namely the Android 2.1 still seems a way off before Sprint will actually deliver the solution.

Rumours suggested the update would arrive before the end of March, but sadly the carrier has now reported that it will not detail until April.

This is obviously not good news for Sprint customers using an Android based device. Even though the carrier announced that it would release the update and even said that it shouldn’t have been long before the solution arrived on the HTC Hero or the Samsung Moment having said that sorry Sprint customers looks like we’ll just have to wait.
