A recent report over at telecomskorea.com give us an interesting insight as to what Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics are intending to show us at the annual CTIA Wireless show held in Las Vegas.
Both companies are intending to unveil new phones as they attempt to consolidate their lead in the North American handset market. It is expected that during the three day event which starts tomorrow Samsung will be displaying around a dozen new phones and of course the latest platform Bada.
Samsung’s new models for north America are targeting the younger generation that are enthusiastic about social networking sites. LG Electronic which currently trails both Samsung and Nokia in global handset sales have said that they plan to showcase around 30 new handsets.
These models are targeted for specific requirements needs and age groups. It is also expected to display its second model based on Android with a QWERTY based messaging phone.
