RIM has now announced the launch of the BlackBerry Storm 2 for India, and sporting BlackBerry OS 5, and will command a price tag for Indian BlackBerry customers of Rs. 31990, reports an article over on telecomtalk.
The Research In Motion BlackBerry Storm 2 with Blackberry OS 5 will become available via Redington’s national distribution channels and will be available in more than sixty cities in India.
The Managing Director of RIM India, Frenny Bawa has said “Powered with the latest SurePress technology and BlackBerry OS 5, the new BlackBerry Storm2 offers customers a powerful and unique mix of advanced communications and multimedia features in a smoothly designed smartphone that will appeal to both consumers and business professionals.”
The BlackBerry Storm 2 offers the user a 3.25 inch capacitive touch screen with SurePress tech, 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, UMTS/HSPA, WiFi, 2GB memory with microSD expansion up to 16GB.
