Skype has been around for quite some time on computers and also on the mobile scene although there has been much controversy over Skype on mobile phones in the past. But that is all in the past and as of yesterday Skype Mobile became available on Verizon reports mobile burn.
This now means Verizon Wireless customers can take advantage of Skype Mobile which runs on the Big Red’s circuit-switched voice network and will be available on such smartphones as the BlackBerry Storm and BlackBerry Storm 2, the BlackBerry Tour 9630, BlackBerry Curve 8330 and 8530 and the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition.
Of course it’s not just Verizon BlackBerry smartphones which can use Skype Mobile; there is also the Motorola Devour, Motorola Droid and the Motorola Droid Eris as well.
