AdMob Report says Android nearly as popular as iPhone OS traffic share
A recent report over at mobileburn.com via metrics.admob.com gives us information in relation to a Admob report.
The report reveals that the Android operating system holds 42% of the United States mobile Operating system traffic share, this is increased from just 27% share reported back in November 2009.
The iPhone OS dropped from a 55% share in November to a 44% share in February 2010. Having said that worldwide Android holds a 24% share while Apple has a 50% share in the market.
The report also explains that Smartphone web traffic has increased 193% during the last year. Samsung has the largest feature phone stake globally which is 32% followed by Nokia 24% and Sony Ericsson 12%, Motorola 10%.
