Video: HTC HD2 Running N900 Maemo OS
It appears the HTC HD2 smartphone is quite a versatile handset when it comes to porting other operating systems. Yesterday we had a video of Windows Phone 7 running on the HTC HD2 and today we have a video of the Nokia N900 Maemo OS running on the HTC HD2.
The video which lasts just over the two minute mark comes courtesy of the guys over at daily mobile and does show the Maemo operating system running on the HTC HD2 but does run somewhat slow.
We also get a quick look at the extra application in the Maemo operating system and when I say a quick look I mean very quick look at the application icons.
Other than that there isn’t too much to see in this port of the Nokia N900 Maemo operating system to the T-Mobile HTC HD2, so all that remains is for you to hit it up and enjoy.

Man, it would be a blast if Maemo could be ported to other devices! IIRC, it’s based on Debian which is equal to great expandability. But, dreams and reality aren’t always too close 🙁
