Apparently all you Verizon BlackBerry Storm 2 owners out there can now gain the latest OS update for your smartphone as according to the guys over at crackberry, the Big Red is pushing out the official OS 5.0.0.607 via wireless update.

They do say that if you haven’t yet seen the option for the over the air OS 5.0.0.607 update on your BlackBerry Storm 2 screen yet don’t fret as it will appear, although you will need to be running an official version of a Verizon OS in order to update via the OTA.

This may meen that some who are currently running a leaked version of the OS on their BlackBerry Storm 2 will more than likely need to downgrade beforehand. The Latest Verizon BlackBerry Storm 2 update is also available via the Verizon Software Downloads page.
