HTC Tera is spotted at the FCC?

Word has it that the Windows Mobile 6.5 packing HTC Tera may well be making its way through the rigours of the FCC reports an article over on pocket now who gains their information via wmpoweruser, although there is no hard confirmation that the device is the HTC Tera.

Apparently it’s a bit of guess work based on the shape and size of the smartphone seen in FCC files and the originator of the spotting, mobilecowboys concludes that it is indeed the HTC Tera.

The HTC Tera is dual-band HSPA and quad-band GSM/EDGE and is a mid range touch phone sporting a 3 inch WVGA touch screen, a slide out and tilting QWERTY keyboard, 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, WiFi, and 3.5mm jack and is presumed to be a low end successor to the HTC Touch Pro2.

The HTC Tera runs Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and due to the hardware buttons and lower resolution display will not see an upgrade to the latest operating system out of Microsoft, Windows Phone 7, and probably won’t hit US shores as it lacks AT&T and T-Mobile frequencies.
