Nokia have recently announced a new firmware version 410.21.010 for the popular business phone the Nokia E63.

The new firmware version can be downloaded easily from Nokia Software Updater otherwise known as NSU or through the Over the Air update or OTA. The new firmware update brings with it a wide range of improvements and fixes for you.

In general there have been improvements to the stability and functionality, email and WLAN functionality improvements and also email application freezes have been fixed. The call handling problem around the reboot issues have been fixed. The calendar has been improved with a fix for the Chinese characters in Lunar calendar and also fix for Western Sahara country legal issue.

There has been an improvement made to the connection establishments with the slow gprs. New functionalities include Nokia messaging IM2.0.19, Gimlet v9.6.0.16 and mail for exchange 3.0.50. The QWERTY keyboard has had usability improvements and there has been a fix for Backslash character for the Portuguese language, and missing characters in both French and Italian languages. As always it is advisable to make a back up of all your data before updating your device.
